My Creed

In regards to my students, they are the reason.

Every single one of my students are different, and have different skills and challenges they face in the classroom and in life. I will ensure I will not have any double standards, and have high expectation for all my students.

I will utilize empathy in my daily instruction, and always use understanding of student behaviors.

Relationships with my students will be the foundation of my teaching, so that trust and respect will be the forefront of learning.

I will celebrate diversity in my students and ensure they feel comfortable expressing themselves.

I will always pay attention to my students academic and personal successes; and celebrate with them.

I will build relationships with my students’ family, other teachers and involved staff to create a team for optimum student success.

I will always advocate for my students, even in challenging times.

I will implement individualized learning strategies and use universal learning so the student fits in with the lesson rather than the other way around.

I will always use positive reinforcement and strategies with my students.

I will always greet my kids with a smile and kind gesture, because that is what they deserve.

Last, but not least, I will work on myself, to create the best version of myself so my students can have a mentor that is respectful responsible and safe. I will do everything I can to be a pillar not only in school, however in the community! I will try to be the best mirror for my students, which means that I always need to take care of myself, mentally, physically and spiritually.
