Vision Statement

My name is Albert Lovato and I am a proud Special Education Teacher. I am fairly new in education and have spent most of my previous careers in mental health and human services. Which, I have a very special place in my heart for families and children.

As I was approached about teaching, I would have never thought that I would be in this field; however, I fell in love with it; or better yet, I fell in love with the children I support. It is a very empowering field when you know that the students in your care are showing progress, in nor only academics, but in basic life/social skills. children build trust and respect for an adult, which creates a strong bond. When that bond is developed it can either crush or build up the student.

My entire theory on supporting our kids has always been creating strong rapport and relationships. I have found that relationship building should be the foundation of serving our students, even before academics. If strong rapport is established, you will obtain trust, respect, and ultimately, loyalty. When the rapport has been accomplished the student will genuinely show you how far their success can go. Being a fierce advocate for a child is not only an honor, it is an investment to our community. As a Teacher, I am blessed to have opportunity and responsibility to help mold our future generations.
